Volcano Series - Solid Fuel Steam Boiler

In our front furnace boilers, bluff and flanged cleaning is present in the lower collectors. When calculating the boiler heat load, an optimum heat load is given to the boiler heating surface area. Thanks to the addition of the front furnace, it completely eliminates the problems of not being able to provide a sufficient heat transfer surface encountered during solid fuel applications in the furnace of a standard gas/liquid fueled steam boiler. Since the need for an extra heating surface and furnace is eliminated thanks to the front furnace, the solid fuel burning efficiency is much higher compared to burning solid fuel in 3-Pass Scotch Type Boilers.

If requested, in our solid fuel boilers, an automatic ash discharge and an automatic lignite coal loading system can be added. Thanks to its large water and steam volume, it provides high performance in working conditions that are intense and continuous and in sudden steam draws. It offers the opportunity to obtain drier and higher energy steam thanks to its high heating surface area.

In Ekotek Heating Technologies, our solid fuel front furnace steam boilers, 5 different safety systems are used:

• Chimney Temperature Controls, and all safety systems, including boiler feed pumps, are used as a standard double package.
